Product designs are optimized for efficient manufacturing as well as durability, appearance, and uniformity to provide alternatives to heavy sheet metal and injection-molded parts. We aim to provide our customers with a cost effective solution in every aspect of the product, from selecting the proper materials to agreeing on the design to minimize production costs. A wide range of thermoforming technical capabilities are available based on the equipment used, materials used, and desired product properties. Virginia Industrial Plastic uses modern equipment utilizing PLC’s to add a level of process control to ensure quality parts.

Our thermoforming processes includes rotary and single station machines with various capabilities and can accommodate sheet sizes up to 84″ x 132″ with a thickness of .040” – .500” and a depth of draw up to 60”. The choice of the thermoforming work done by VIP is always guided by the engineering and product specifications of the customer and part. We are willing to invest in additional equipment under the right circumstances to support your requirements.
